What to Expect on a Harry Potter London Walk

The Harry Potter walking tour takes you on a wonderful walking and river adventure into the magical world of wizardry in London. First up is passing through the barriers of Westminster tube station with hopefully more ease than Arthur Weasley.  You get to learn about London's rich history and the famous and infamous muggles that have lived in the city.

You get to wander through the district which houses many of ministries including the Ministry of Magic. The 15 minute Thames boat ride takes you along the route taken by Harry and The Order of The Phoenix.  You arrive at the station which saw Harry leave on his journey to Hogwarts and the start of his many great adventures.

Along the route of the tour there are plenty of photo opportunities, like trying to Push a trolley through the wall at Platform 9 ¾. You can have your photo taken on the bridge which was destroyed by the Death Eaters in Half Blood Prince. Other tour highlights include visiting the locations used for The Leaky Cauldron in The Philosophers Stone and Prisoner of Azkaban.

You will discover lots of fascinating facts on the history of London, its streets and famous buildings.  Also on the tour you get to see film locations from movies including The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, Bridget Jones's Diary and 102 Dalmatians.

There are also other Harry Potter tours which take you on a luxury bus to see locations in Oxford and Lacock where some of the filming took place.  The historic places and beautiful scenery in Oxford that you see on this tour will take your breath away.
