Priyanka Chopra is one of the new actresses, who has slowly made it big in the industry of Hindi films with her persistent efforts. Career before Acting

Although her following few movies received mixed responses from the critics and public, she had already proved her ability.
National Award
Madhur Bhandarkar cast Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut in his movie Fashion, made in 2008. Priyanka showcased a matured performance in the movie and the character of Meghna Mathur became well known. She is an ambitious girl from a town, who reaches Mumbai and becomes a super model but a few incidents changes her life fully. The transformation has been shown well by her. She got the National award for Best Actress and Filmfare Best Actress award for this movie.
Hindi Films to be Released
By building a reputation of a talented actress by staying up to the mark always, her upcoming films in Bollywood are being eagerly awaited by followers and critics. In her upcoming movie Saat Khoon Maaf, she acts as an Anglo-Indian woman who murders her husbands. The story is inspired from of Ruskin Bond's short story. The film is a thriller and Priyanka has seven roles in it. It seems to be one of the best movies of her film career.
Other than Saat Khoon Maaf, another upcoming film in the Hindi film industry is Don 2 - The Chase Continues with the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. Priyanka will act in the movie as Roma. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this film.
