People of India basically follow the arranged marriage system, and they consider it as something great and honorable. Dating is considered as a taboo in our country and so is the case with love marriages in many interior and orthodox parts of the country. Our people give much importance to family relationship. Arranged marriage still playing key factor in marriage system in rural India as well as some times in urban cities. Considering our social marriage systems, Bollywoood film makers have beautifully portrayed arranged marriage in their movies. We can still remember movie on arranged marriage like

This movie had able to collect huge laurels from the viewers. This movie was attractively depicted, never before an arranged marriage was shown so beautifully on screen. It was started with a marriage and ended with a marriage. it can termed as combination of love and arranged marriage indeed. Some of Bollywood movies depicts successful arranged marriage love story. Hum Aapke Hain Kaun Typical Indian family's arranged marriage has been depicted brilliantly in this movie through the story of Rajesh (Mohnish Behl) and Pooja (Renuka Shahane) along with all the tradition, customs and songs. Extended families gathering, spending time together, sparking love between brother and sister of bride and bridegroom was enjoyable part of the film.

 

Vivah

In this movie, director show the journey from engagement to wedding day. It will introduce you to the traditional side, without getting orthodox. It is hard core arranged marriage movie. love between the protagonists grow after getting engaged. Vivah is a classic example of a successful arranged marriage.

 

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

Hum Dil de Chuke Sanam is the perfect realization of parent's choice as the best. Here, director tried to show husband(Ajay Devgun) as the statue of kind, love and sacrifice. After realizing that his newly wedded wife (Ash) is in love with someone else, Ajay Devgun still has the heart to take her to her lover's (Salman Khan) place, just because her happiness matters more to him than his own. At last, female protagonist realizes the difference between bonding of lover and husband.
