Bring your favourite mystery to life with Warner Brother's film, Sherlock Holmes

On December 25, 2009, Warner Bros. Pictures released the film Sherlock Holmes. It was directed by Guy Richie and features Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams. The movie has been rated PG-13 because of its violence and startling images. The screen play was written by Michael Johnson, Anthony Peckham, and Guy Richie. It is a wonderful action and adventure mystery with some parts of humor.

The movie is about the latest mystery of the dynamic team of Sherlock Holmes and his partner Watson. Sherlock Holmes is a fictional detective that was created by an author and physician in Scotland named Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Holmes is famous for his logical reasoning and ability to disguise himself. He is also famous for his use of forensic science to solve difficult cases. Holmes has appeared in 56 short stories and four novels since 1887. Most of the books are narrated by Sherlock Holmes's sidekick Watson. The mystery thrillers have been popular for decades.

Sherlock Holmes has just captured a serial killer named Blackwood. When Blackwood returns from the grave to continue his killing spree, Holmes is back on the case. He has to use his keen senses to unlock one of his hardest mysteries yet. He also has to fight for the attention of his famous partner Watson, who is occupied with his new love interest and fiancé.

There is a Sherlock Holmes Tour of London that explores places that were featured in the books, and real sites that inspired the authors. The tour also features some movie sites and is perfect for all fans. The tour starts at the home of the great detective on Baker Street. The tour will take you to places where Holmes nearly died and uncover myths and truths of his story. There will be plenty of opportunities to take wonderful pictures and see some of the locations that were featured in the movie. You can even dress up as the Master Sleuth and get right into the excitement.

The movie has received nine out of ten stars on average from all of its reviewers. It is considered to be one of Warner Brothers most viewed films and made over $62, 000.00 in its opening weekend. The movie grossed over $200,000.00 in the United States alone.
